Customers
The selection of services is called the Hotel Strandvik, small-scaled but versatile and high-level, suitable for several-days meetings and seminars for company (organisation) boards, head quarters, small themes etc. And suitable for a one-day meeting of a larger group mounting up until about 50-60 persons. Especially in the summer, with additional places in the outdoor balcony, there is place for about 100-150 clients. The Hotel Strandvik is a seaside place both for work and relaxation, suitable for meetings, holidays and parties, for local people, tourists and visitors.
Surroundings
There are exceptional natural circumstances in the Hotel region with a lot of sand (area of sandy ridge) and about 150-meters beach. The Hotel is located in the place where the Dahlby cement works used to be located. Nearby, there is a region called the Strömma, which is well-known with it´s history and culture, with an old and a new canal and ruins of the past economic glory such as an old sawmill. In the Hotel the quests can get information about culture and leisure services that are available in the different parts of the Kemiö Island.
How to get there
The Hotel Strandvik is located about one-hour from Turku, one and one and a half hours from Helsinki, and a half hour from Salo (the home city of the Finnish Nokia, a mobile company). The hotel is located on the biggest island of Finland called the Kemiö, one can get there by car through either a bridge or the Strömma canal. From Helsinki, there is a straight bus connection to the "outdoor" of the hotel, there is a bus station 150 meters away. Taking a bus to Salo and continuing with a taxi is sometimes more quick and comfortable if there is no need of familiarizing oneself with the Finnish countryside.
